Does anybody know who previously owned the Jeff Gordon edition monte carlo #1957?

I recently purchased and repaired a wrecked Jeff Gordon Edition Monte Carlo. I believe it came from California prior to being wrecked. I check with GM and it’s car #1957 out of #2424. I have the car done now and would like to find the original owner to see if they still have the original documentation for the car. I’m doubting that anybody will be able to help me here, but any ideas on how I might go about tracking this person down would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
